Papyrus Book 5: The Anger of the Great Sphinx

Papyrus Book 5: The Anger of the Great Sphinx, by De Gieter, Cinebook

THE PHARAOH'S daughter Princess Theti goes sleepwalking and becomes a prisoner within the sphinx, for the spirit of that great artefact is angered that the Egyptians have broken a promise they made to keep the sphinx free from sand, and now time is running out for the young maiden’s survival. Enter Papyrus who travels to the land of the gods and between time and space, intent on saving her.

A book aimed at young readers it proves to be a quite dark and scary journey, wrapped in myths of old changed to suit the story, and a tale of good over evil, but not in too simple a way.
