Time was you could pick up a periodical on any subject under the sun. You probably still can, ‘though in most cases they now come digitally wrapped. So too, this is where you find Comic Time, once a mail order newsletter offering news and articles of an independently minded nature, while seeking the journalistic truth on what was perceived as the mainstream, as well as routing out any interesting obscurity that caught its eye. It was slim, exquisitely designed, and gave the impression it knew far too much than was good for it. Those on the receiving end would like to think that’s why - having stole its small but loyal readerships’ hearts - it went away, and was never heard of again.

 

Naturally that wasn’t the case. It just took on several different guises, went undercover, infiltrated deep within enemy camps, played the coy innocent while watching the times change, and adapted until the time was right to move out from some Steranko-indebted chiaroscuro framework, and reveal itself as a femme fatale holding a hot smoking gun.

 

Here she is; the new Comic Time!

 

If there’s a retro feel about it, treat it like an old lover – the one who always told it like it is! But don’t for one minute think it is living in the past; Comic Time has its finger on the pulse and guarantees to make your blood pressure soar!
